Born & Bred Free Range Pork

Bundawarrah born and bred Free Range Pork was established in 1994 on our third generation family farm.

Operating the piggery as a rotational free range breeding unit with eco shelter raised progeny, we utilise modern pork industry technological advances with tried and tested old fashion piggery commonsense practices.

The “meat industry” has been in the Roberts family blood with Steve’s grandfather, father and uncles owning and operating three butcher shops in Temora up until the late 1980’s running their butcher shop stock on “Ganowlea”.

The knowledge and customer service acquired over the years has been passed down and incorporated in the growing and marketing of Bundawarrah Pork and saltbush lamb.

The resurgence of niche’ Butcheries with an emphasis on service, cooking advise and quality meat products; and the popularity of Farmer’s Markets have created an opening for Bundawarrah’s succulent and tasty pork to be show-cased and made available to the discerning and food conscience consumers of today.

We are proud recipients of numerous awards including:

  • 2001 Riverina Food Group "Producer of the year"
