We were proud and excited to be one of 3 finalists in the NSW Farmer of the Year awards, held at Homebush in Sydney.
As the first ever pork producers to be nominated we went through the judging process; nervously opening our farm and business to the distinguished judging panel who flew in for the inspection. The judging process and the filming of our farm for the awards night allowed us to meet some unforgettable and invaluable members of the Agricultural community and the DPI. This experience is one we are grateful for and one that allows us to continue to grow, providing a networking tool that we value. Although not winners on the night, we feel like winners with our achievements and life experiences gained from the involvement.
